Manny's Picture

Dr Manny Aston has a varied background in film and television production and extensive experience as a writer in mainstream theatre and Theatre In Education, having over 15 plays professionally produced, and three published. He is the author of Study Right, one of Australia’s best-selling ‘How to Study’ guides, and currently works as a part-time teacher at TAFE NSW and Macleay College.

Manny has degrees at Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral levels, in Mass Communication, Philosophy, Education, Creative Arts and Psychology. His current PhD research focuses on the psychological aspects (human factors) of Cybercrime, and developing ways to educate both corporations and the community to effectively deal with this growing problem. Of specific interest is the profile of the victim of cybercrimes such as Phishing
