Nguyen is now doing a PhD degree in Computer Science at Macquarie University. Her PhD topic is about Network Security and Botnets. Botnets are known as one of the biggest threats to Internet users because they are used for criminal purposes such as Phishing, identity theft and DDoS attack. Nguyen comes from Vietnam and was born in the second last monkey year of the twentieth century ^_^. Nguyen did her Bachelor of Science/Diploma of Education then Honours in Computer Science at Macquarie University and graduated in 2004. After that, she went back to Vietnam and worked as a Business Analyst for FCG Vietnam, a US based IT-outsourcing Company in Vietnam. Her industry experience is in e-learning. Nguyen loves travelling, music, movie and enjoys cooking (although she is not a good cook ^_^) and ... eating
